Last night, my parents and I had a barbecue last night. It is so much fun than cooking of the stove or oven. Also, our weather here is getting cooler, so it's nice to hang out outside even during the night. Like you said, we even saved on electricity =). What was cooking in that pot?

I don't have a structure like that, but I did get myself a smokeless charcoal stove and grill. It even comes with a funnel for the grill so the fat can drain off neatly. It's great — I can use it inside the house because there really is no smoke. And it was invented by a Filipino!

This picture somewhat reminds me of the good old days at my grandma's place. :)

I just got a $425 electric bill. I may have to start doing this.

Whatever works! Do you know what is cooking?

Kayni--What's on the pot? Beef stew.

Hilda--Smokeless charcoal contraption? Is it economical in the long run?

eki--Yes, we are going back through time with this. Sigh!

Tammie--Haha it could work. The environmental issues might be a problem.

kris-- Yeah!
