If you happen to drop by one of Butuan's favorite hang-outs Margie's and Pan de Pugon you'll see a number of people with their laptops busy with their facebook and their "farm" or their "mafia". Personally, I haven't been a fan of the farming facebook apps. I'm more into smallworlds, and mafia wars.
Margie's is mostly a cake shop that evolved into a cafe offering coffee, pasta, and other food. Pan de pugon is a bakeshop that's now offering breakfast meals. Tocilog (tocino, egg and rice), longsilog (longganisa, egg and rice, and other breakfast combination. They are two of the popular hot spots in the city.

I might actually feel out of place in these two, not having either a laptop or a Facebook account. Yes, until now — I know you're still waiting. ;)
But I will have some of those pastries and breakfast meals!
I was once very addicted to Farm Town. But after reaching the highest level/after my "graduation", I seem to care no more if my crops are all wasted. =)
aha ... it sounds like a place i'd love, both for the foods and the hotspot.
i have a facebook account, but i'm not into those games. for me it's just a way to stay connected with my friends and students.
Hilda-- Yes I still am. Hehe Actually HIlda we don't bring our laptops when we go there. Its a good place to have a chat with friends and eat cassava cakes too hehehe or hot pan de sal.

Eki-- Facebook is a good socialnetwork site for keeping in touch with friends and family. :)

Same here, I like mafia wars better. I did start the farming games, but lost interest.
