Husay

Photobucket

As I mentioned in my previous post, I was at Barangay Libertad last Saturday. I was there for a reason-- I provided moral support to my friend. Her family is involved in a land dispute. To find resolution to the problem the barangay leaders were there to lend a hand.

The picture above is the barangay level "husay" in action.

When there is conflict with your neighbor or within the barangay before going to court for trial what we do is to try to resolve it in the barangay level. Instead of taking the issue to court which would take years and a lot of money involved, there is now such a step that might help resolve conflicts with your neighbor without going through all the hoopla.

What I witnessed that day is quite impressive. It gets me quite teary eyed thinking about it he he he.

Thank you Dong. I hope the misunderstanding will be resolved soon, too!

It is better to negotiate than fight. I am glad for your friend to have you as support.

land disputes are quite time consuming and irritating. do update if your friend's problem gets resolved.

turle-- yes, negotiation is better than fighting.

Kayni-- This is really true. Very emotional problem also. I really hoped that the problem was resolved but alas...

I love this shot a lot. There's some uneasiness, seriousness, action in it. And the lighting is really good, cast faint shadows on the wooden floor, and popped the door details out.
