Toron and Cigarettes



Banana wrapped in lumpia wrapper and deep fried with brown sugar. Another way of making this banana roll is to add nangka (jackfruit). Click here for the recipe I found.

They look so yummy ... it makes me hungry just to look at the photograph. Nangka and Lumpia are exactly the same words we use for the same things you described (the fruit and the wrapper).

kris-- During high school theres a toron seller who offers catsup with toron. Gosh. it may be weird to some but I miss that. I miss that place. I forget what the store was called.
