Timber City Of The South
Butuan City is also known as the Timber City of the south. Logging is still present today as we can see from the Butuan photo of the day. This photo was taken while my friend and I went jogging at Macapagal Bridge.
The reason I'm posting this photo is to spark some sort of interest. I'm not really sure if this is the bad kind of logging or not. I just want this kind of activity out here in the open. If there's nothing to hide then this photo is just some sort of characteristic of my city-- being the logging capital in the past. If not...

I am concerned of the long term effect of logging. Do Batuan people get the benefit from logging, Layrayski?
I think this is the illegal kind, eki so I always think its a bad thing. Except to those who cut down what they have planted of course. But even so...
This is illegal?! How can your government officials ignore it? This is a large operation in such a populated area!
