I just realized majority of my photos includes people. Since there is a theme tomorrow of which people are main subject I have to post something without the said subject.

The Guingona Park

The park in the middle of the city, formerly known as Rizal Park, or the Plaza is now called as the Guingona Park.It's not yet fully finished. The workers I talked to told me there are still going to put in fountains and stuff around. The statue of the Philippine national Jose Rizal was moved nearer to the church. Tiles are new and that seal on the ground is spanking new also.

I will post another pic if I do get around to taking pics in the near future. Can't wait to see the finished product coz truthfully I am disappointed they chose the kind of brick they put in there. The sidewalk at Asia link and surrounding areas are made of those same kind of brick. Even the colors are the same. Dull. And now they are ugly and broken and ugh. Anyway. I hope they know now what they are doing.

Enjoyed a cake one quiet afternoon at Red Apple, PS Arcade building.

Lechon in Small Portions

If you are hankering for the deliciously fatty goodness of lechon baboy (roasted pork) and a whole lechon is too much. You can buy some for per kilo. This photo was taken inside Ramos Lechon House. The lechon butcher as you can see was enclosed the glass room as he chopped up lechon into pieces. You can hear the lechon skin crackling with each thud of the huge knife.

Equiparco Badminton Cup

This is the medal of the champion of veteran level 2 division. It must've been a wonderful event showcasing the local talent playing against the invited foreign badminton players. Too bad I could'nt be there.

The Motorcycle

This is the vehicle of choice of the common people. It's affordable, with low gasoline consumption, and up to 5 (or more) people can ride one.

Sunday at the market

Welcome to the more improved Langihan market. It's cleaner, less stinky. Definitely an improvement! Even my cousins from Cagayan were impressed. Well done, Butuan! Keep it up!
