In the Philippines, the love affair with basketball continues. If you come and visit this country you will notice how obvious the love the Filipinos have for this sport. In every baranggay, there is a basketball court be it in concrete or in the case above, bare ground. Recently, in my social media circles the basketball is under attack. The question they raise is: why are Filipinos, people who are not naturally tall persist on playing a game that is for the height gifted? I think its a good point. But who wants to deprive these kids the enjoyment they feel for this game? Not me.
