Every year Butuan, like Cebu, celebrate and honor Sto. Nino. In Cebu its called Sinulog, in Butuan we call it Kahimunan.
I already posted a few photos about this Butuan event last month but since I still have a lot of photos I didn't post, I thought I'd do it now (Even if sum-o na :D). There's an annual photography contest too (I didn't place, unfortunately). This year is the fourth time running. They just posted the winners and I thought since the event is finally over and done I'd post a couple of my entries for this blog.
Kudos to all participants to the contest and congrats to the winners! It takes balls to go out and send your photos to be judged. Whether we win or not- we still learn something and that's a win in itself (So say the loser :D JK!)
I'm so proud to see the talent coming out to show their stuff. Congrats again winners, sponsors, participants, organizers, and judges.
