orange and green

Calagan Festival III

I always think that taking photos of festivals is pretty difficult to do well.Vivid colors and the number of participants makes for one chaotic experience. This is the second time that I've covered something like this and I think I've learned something from my first one and this one.

Buy better gear.

Just kidding.

Hi Uncle Awang, thanks for saying so. I was about to change the photo when I saw that someone already commented on this. This post was a scheduled post.

LOL! Well I think you've got a fantastic eye — the gear is just secondary.

It took me some time to figure this out. What are those green rolled-up plastic nets supposed to be? Love the colors though. Hope you enjoyed the fiesta!

Love your new avatar, by the way. Cute lazy cat! :D

Don't forget to vote for the April theme! We get two choices this time, thanks to Elaine. Please help spread the word too.

I am wondering too about the rolled-up nets, but this is just curiosity.
This photo is stunning: the green of the nets(?) is perfect against the oranges and the yellows.

Hilda= I think they are supposed to be fisherfolks, and the nets are used for putting in fish? hehehe I wasn't really paying attention to what they were doing.
=)You have no idea how difficult it is to get a good pic of my cats. They can't keep still! And thank you!

Bohol today- Thank you =)

Vogon Poet- Thanks!! My theory is the rolled nets are sort of a container for something hehe sorry. =)
