My first black and white photo on this blog.
I found it interesting how the tricycle driver did his repair on his tricycle.
Tricycles-- one of the major mode of public transportation in the city. The regular fare is now 8 pesos. Previously, it only cost 6.50 Pesos.
Maximum Passenger capacity-- 6.
2 in front and 4 at the back.

Black and white photos remind me of my grandparents' photos. The driver looks like he managed to tip that tricycle all by himself.
Thanks for visiting my city photo blog. I have been lurking around here for a while too and I enjoy your photographs. I love seeing the city images as I've never been to Butuan, even Mindanao but have always wanted to, especially its cities- Butuan of course, CDO, Iligan, GenSan, Metro Davao, Zambo, Dapitan, Marawi... Even Isabela when I'm feeling brave and stuff.
Oh, I love today's picture. It's your first B&W here but it looks like you know how to shoot without color for ages. The contrast is really well done, rich with a lot of shades of gray. Add to that you managed to capture that perfect moment.
But I hate tricycles. At least here drivers overcharge strangers. Since I'm not from a tricycle barangay or community I don't know how to deal with the issue nicely.
O nga naman, kaysa sa nakayuko siya o nakaupo sa kalsada! :)
Kayni--Hehe it brings nostalgia? Or horror? Yes, he probably did.
metromanila--Why didn't you say hi? I really didn't know there was another metro manila blog other than hilda and pusa. I feel like an impostor posting that black and white. Hehe. Thanks. Yeah some unscruplous drivers overcharge their passengers, especially the tourists. Camiguin on the other hand is different. The people there are really great. They know how to take care of the people who visit their place.
hilda-- yeah, a behind the scene of my regular ride. I actually have a love-hate relationship with this transportation mode, hilda. Hehe
The street moment you captured here is just PERFECT!!! Layraski! I love this picture. So telling, and in black and white too.
Thank you eki. I feel weirdly pretentious posting a black and white photo. Anyway, thank you for your kind comment.
oh wow, what a strong man ;) he can lift a tricycle, just like superman :) well almost ...
Haha driver slash superman!
