Under Macapacal Bridge #2 (A Ramble Post)

I was telling my cousin that when I was in Abu Dhabi, the river under a bridge (that I forgot the name of) has such an abundant number of fish that people were able to reel big fishes with just their fishing rods. This bridge reminds me of that, and I'm just sad that we don't have that here in Butuan. There is a fishing license needed in order to fish in UAE. That is a good idea in order to restrict fishing indiscriminately. On the other hand, I'm happy enough to see that the water in the Agusan River and the river banks from this area are free from litter.

Or maybe I'm just overthinking things and the Agusan river is really plentiful fishes and Butuanon riverside fishermen use fishnets (I don't know the exact term been googling) instead of fishing rods (of course, :D) I remember people using other means of getting fish in this area. Duh.

I'm just not sure how bountiful marine life is, here, though.

Btw, Shout out to my model, Al, for agreeing to be part of my photo :D

I don't remember if I already mentioned this here, for those interested, I started a podcast called Layrayski Butuanon Podcast. The first series is called Caraga People's Voices and Stories. It's composed of ten episodes- ten people being interviewed. If you want to listen to strangers talk about themselves, their passion, their advocacies, their memories of childhood you might want to listen to the podcast which you can find in this link. The series is already complete. I'm currently busy doing the pre-production/production for the second series. Hope you'll come visit the site, like and subscribe also.
